When it comes to makeup, ladies, we have our hits and misses. Do you remember when one shade of blue eye shadow all over the lid and brow bone was a style? Yikes, I know. Some things can never be forgotten. Thank goodness for transition colors and blending brushes. Today, let’s go over some sure fire ways to be a smash with shadows and shades that are perfect for your eye color.

Blue Eyes

Ok you blue-eyed beauties you’re up first. The best color for you is… neutrals! You can rock browns, oranges, and even some cool shades such as a pretty pale blue or pink. For a more color popping wow moment choose an orange shade such as coral or bronze. If you want a more electrifying eye choose the cool shades like a nice violet. Do be weary of dark smokey eyes because those can drag down any look for blue eyes.

Gray

Similar to blue eyes, grays can style their eyes with cool shades of blue or pink. However, unlike blue eyes, grays can absolutely wear smokey shadows to help their eyes pop. Finding tones similar in color to your shade of gray also works really well.

Green Eyes

If you have green eyes, first of all I’m jealous because they’re gorgeous, and second, you have the cutest colors to work with. Next time you’re jazzing up your eye makeup, go with a muted purple or cranberry to stand out. Since your eyes are already vibrant, you can also try out some warm colors such as browns as well.

Hazel

Alright hazels, you know you can have a lot of fun with your eye shadows. Let’s just get right to it. Metallic. I know, I know that can sound scary if you’ve never played with those before, but trust me, they’re outstanding. Picking a specific color depends on which color in your eye you want to show off more.

Brown

Finally, my fellow brown eyed girls. You can basically wear any color on your lids. From neutrals to bright purples, brown eyes can make a look come alive. Go for a salmon and bronze eye or add some black shadow to intensify the look.
