According to a source who spoke with OK! Australia on July 18th, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth might have called it quits. Per Daily Mail, the source claimed that because Hemsworth is ready to settle down and start a family, but Cyrus reportedly isn’t quite prepared to do that, their engagement has been called off. Where are our tissues? The waterworks are about to begin!
“He wants kids and doesn’t want to keep putting it off but it’s not quite the timeline Miley had in mind,” the source told OK!, “he is left heartbroken.” The source then added that the two haven’t been getting along in recent months.
The insider then told the publication that Cyrus didn’t even want to get married in the first place. As Daily Mail pointed out, Cyrus did state in 2017 that marriage wasn’t at the top of her priority list. However, her statement was seemingly contradicted when rumors emerged that she and Hemsworth secretly tied the knot in a boho-style wedding in Malibu in March of this year — two years after they rekindled their relationship.
The OK! Australia source has remained anonymous, so it’s hard to gauge how valid this information is. But just days ago, Cyrus deleted her entire gallery of Instagram photos, leading some fans to believe something is amiss.

Neither Hemsworth nor Cyrus’s camp have commented on the fresh-baked rumor — BUT (and this is a big “but”) there’s evidence that points to this being a huge ruse.

Around 1:00 EST today, July 19th, Hemsworth uploaded a video to his Instagram Story of he and Cyrus jamming out in his car. He pranks Cyrus by pretending he’s about to crash, to which Cyrus says, “I’m going to beat the sh—.”
We’re no relationship experts here, but it seems like they’re doing fine, if not great.

Perhaps Cyrus deleted her Instagram photos in preparation for a surprise album drop. Or maybe she’s simply decided to steer clear of social media for a while. Whatever the reason may be, we think the source may have gotten the wrong idea — at least we hope so.
