This information reportedly came from law enforcement officials. It was said that, before noon, an ambulance transported the star from her Hollywood Hills home. This comes a month after Demi’s new single, “Sober,” in which she reveals that she is struggling with sobriety.
The singer has been open about her battle with addiction, letting others know they are not alone. Back in 2011, she entered a treatment center and later lived in a sober living home for a year. Last March, Demi revealed that she was six years sober from substances such as alcohol and cocaine. According to People, while being honored with the “Spirit of Sobriety” award in September 2017, she stated, “Every day is a battle. You just have to take it one day at a time, some days are easier than others and some days you forget about drinking and using…”
