We could have used a spoiler alert, Sophie! Last week, actress Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, got a new tattoo to commemorate her experience being on the show. But upon showing her new ink to the public, Turner caused chaos amongst the GoT fandom. Many fans believe Turner’s new ink gave away the much-anticipated ending to the entire series.
The final season of Game of Thrones is set to air in April of 2019. And because the book series on which the show is based, George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire, has yet to be completed, both fans of the show and fans of the book series will watch this decades-long epic come to a sweeping close. No pressure or anything.
So when Turner debuted her new ink — the Stark direwolf paired with the quote “the pack survives” — fans flipped. Does this mean that the Starks come out on top at the end? Will Jon Snow, Ned Stark’s “bastard son,” take the Iron Throne? Hmm…!
“While I was getting it done, people advised me not to because it looked like I was giving everything away,” Turner said during a June 21st appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden. “But I wasn’t! It’s just a quote from last season. But everyone figures that the pack really does survive.”

Host James Corden then asked Turner to put us out of our misery and just tell us how the series ends. “I’ll just get it tattooed on my forehead next time,” Turner joked.

Listen, we’re not so sure that Turner is telling the truth about not giving away the series finale. But there’s only one way to find out. We’ll have to sit tight until next year to see if the pack really does survive.
