Over the years, we’ve come to learn that no Netflix show is safe — even if that show is bought by Netflix. We’ve lost winners like Everything Sucks, Haters Back Off, and the very funny Lady Dynamite in the past year and a half, and now The Break with Michelle Wolf joins that list.

!!"

The Break with Michelle Wolf only became part of Netflix three months ago. Airing a new episode every Sunday, host and comedian Michelle Wolf was never afraid to tell it like it is — even if it made you cringe. Prior to her show, Wolf was known for hosting the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in April, where her performance was pretty controversial.

It’s a shame that Netflix got rid of Wolf’s show, since it served as an important reminder that women can, and should, be outspoken over topics they believe in. Even though Wolf’s comedy wasn’t for everyone, she is a talented lady who brought a fresh perspective to the scene. She deserved more than 10 episodes.

Wolf’s fans weren’t afraid to voice their complaints on Twitter. Hopefully, Netflix realizes they might have jumped the gun on their decision.

To add to this news, Netflix also canceled The Joel McHale Show, which initially also started as a weekly much like Wolf’s series. Netflix tried to retool it by releasing the final episodes all at once, but it looks like that tactic might not have worked.

Chances are, this isn’t the last we’ll see of Wolf. It wouldn’t be a surprise if another network is already approaching her regarding something new.
