Sure you already follow the most gorgeous and awe-inspiring feeds, but do you want to get a few chuckles while you click? These are the feeds to follow if you are interested in a like and a lol.
@ifyouhigh: So many things to look at that are aesthetically pleasing even if you aren’t altered. Come for the mesmerizing video of a man painting the street signs, stay for the oddly compelling video of a man pan-frying pencils.
@dogsinbeds: Judge them not for their threadcount, just have true lol about the fact that a lot of these pooches are sleeping better than you.
@craptaxidermy: Even if you truly love a well-placed buck head, this account is going to have you questioning taxidermy. All we can say is that these animals deserved a better afterlife.
@mrorlandosoria: Orlando Soria, former Homepolish special editor and Emily Henderson assistant, is unequivocally the king of Instagram stories. Do you want incredible interiors along with “live updates” from him talking into “microphones” such as granola bars, hairbrushes, etc. His instagram bio should give you a good indicator of his humor: “I’m a human man who lives inside your phone and talks to you. All I like talking about is guys, shopping and the mall.”
@seriousdesign: Ok, so this is a weird one—it’s products, but then everything is made out of food? Surreal, absurdist, and surprisingly satisfying.
@pumpkintheracoon: Technically, this Instagram isn’t about design (it’s about an adorable, domesticated raccoon that lives in the Bahamas), but Pumpkin lives well. If you enjoy goofy animals with a side of coastal, eclectic interiors, than by all means follow and keep an eye out for the Coral & Tusk throw pillows.
@therealgracecoddington: I mean, you saw The September Issue right? You’re a human person who therefore adores international treasure Grace Coddington. So you’re a person who wants drawings of her cartoon cats and occasional glimpses into the fashion world. So you’re a person who follows Grace Coddington.
@AmySedaris: The queen of quirky crafts is returning to TV this fall with a surely surrealist entertaining show. Her instagrams run the gamut from silly projects to old-school cartoons to hot dogs with faces to pretty inspired, Todd Oldham-co-created spaces.
@ericareitman: If know the name of the blog Erica Reitman’s old blog, you probably have a decent idea of her incredible sense of humor (we won’t reprint it here). Now she’s a design shopping guru (in her own words “My DIY skills can be described as ‘remedia’ at best, and DI-don’t at worst.”). The imagery is alluring and dotted with tons of whimsical hashtags like #myfatass. You’re going to like it.
@torimellott: The Traditional Home editor has posts an incredible mix of vintage images, celebrates made up holidays like “Swan Week” and showcases adorable photos of her twins. Go ahead and dive back to her 41st birthday celebration where you’ll absurdist artwork of cakes with sexy gams.
@flyartproductions: Rap lyrics layered of Rococo-era paintings. That’s enough.
