Oh, did you think the Jordyn Woods-Tristan Thompson scandal concluded with Season 16 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians? Think again.

!!"

After reports Kylie Jenner and her former BFF were on good terms, the beauty mogul got major media attention for unfollowing Jordyn on Instagram after Woods was seen dancing near Jenner’s sister Khloé Kardashian’s other ex-boyfriend James Harden.

As more details come out about the pair’s estranged relationship status, it’s not surprising Kylie has decided to publicly declare an ending to all the drama.

A source told People, “They have obviously not had a good friendship for months, but it seems Kylie never wanted to rush it and completely break away from Jordyn.”

Now, Kylie realizes she can live without her former friend.

“She just doesn’t need Jordyn in her life. Unfollowing her on Instagram was kind of the last step to break away from Jordyn,” the source added. “She wants to live as drama free as possible.”

In a new teaser clip promoting the upcoming season, which is set to air in September 2019 (and will be the 17th in the series) Kylie explains to sister Khloé  exactly why she thinks the drama caused by her BFF and Khloé’s ex actually had to go down.

“I think that this whole Jordyn situation needed to happen for a reason for me, for her, for you, for everybody,” Kylie tells Koko while at a wine tasting in Napa Valley.

Hm…okay, Kylie, go on.

“She was my security blanket. She lived with me. We did everything together,” she continues. “I just felt like, ‘Oh, I have Jordyn. I don’t need anything else.’ And I feel like there’s a part of me that needed to grow without her and sometimes people aren’t there for certain reasons at certain times in your life and then not there for others.”

Leave it to the youngest member of the Jenner-Kardashian family to be so wise and see the silver lining in a troubling situation. And Khloé had to give her sister kudos where kudos were due.

“I really respect in you that you’re really good at being calm, even when you probably do want to scream at someone,” Khloé tells Kylie in the clip. “I think it’s just ’cause you’re so confident and secure with who you are, which is so wonderful. And it’s such a really inspiring trait that you have.”

“I feel like we’re just all so lucky to have each other because I feel like a lot of the reason why I am the way I am is because of you guys,” Kylie says. She’s seriously a wise old owl and we can’t get over it.

“Everything is supposed to happen for a reason,” Khloé adds in the clip. “I feel like this is the season to filter through the bullsh*t. And only the strong and loyal will survive.”

And, those who said that Jordyn most likely profited from the outcome scandal as well are also correct. She’s now doing amazing things as her own woman.

The Kardashian-Jenner influence was nice while it lasted. But in order to make her own way in life, Jordyn has to do Jordyn.

Many people on Twitter actually think Jordyn is doing much better without Kylie, rather than the other way around.

But we don’t like to choose sides, so…

We’re not going to pick a side! Sorry!

Somehow, some way, Kylie and Jordyn needed to go their separate ways eventually. Sadly, it had to be like this.

However, some people think that it’s time to give this whole thing a rest. If we’re just rehashing old news, then it’s not news anymore.

Some put it more bluntly than others. But hey — we get it.

Others are just wishing Kylie Jenner well on this solo journey.

They’ll be ready to back up Jordyn if she needs them.

To find out if this fight really is totally squashed, we’ll just have to tune in to Season 17 come September. But, honestly, we’re really hoping the dust will finally settle.

We can certainly all agree that the ~teenage dramz~ has to end eventually.

Kylie Jenner, the Three-Eyed Raven of the Kardashian crew, should understand that.
