The Kardashian-Jenner family sure knows how to start a good mystery. On July 2nd, Kim Kardashian West posted a photo to her Instagram of her youngest daughter Chicago. As much as we love a good pic of baby Chi, the caption is what really caught fans’ attention. Kim Kardashian may have revealed Chicago’s middle name, and if the rumors are true, our hearts are full of Christmas cheer.
Kardashian simply captioned her July 2nd post, “Chi Noel,” with a few heart emojis in between. This sparked interest because TMZ, who obtained a photo of Chi’s birth certificate, previously reported in late January that Chicago wasn’t given a middle name. Kardashian’s other two children with husband Kanye West, North and Saint, are also reportedly middle-nameless. Is Chicago the exception?
And ~if~ Chicago’s middle name is Noel, then she shares the moniker with mom Kim. As stated on Chi’s birth certificate, Kim’s middle name is also Noel. One could argue that perhaps Kim was just referring to herself in her recent Instagram post — but we’re just not buying that.
According to Romper, it’s possible for parents to give their child a middle name after the birth certificate is initially filled out. So, Noel could have been given to Chi later on.
