Many actors meet their significant others-to-be while at work. Think about it: spending well over 40 hours per week at a job is bound to spark a little romance between colleagues. Sure, their work environment might be a bit different from where us regular folks work, but that certainly doesn’t deter from the attraction two people can start to feel for each other while they’re on the clock. And when you start talking about actors who fell in love while on set, you realize that the list gets pretty long, really fast.
Unlike the rest of us, most actors’ romances are viewed under a microscope. The minute we hear that two celebrities are in a relationship, we want to know everything: How did they meet? How long have they been together? Do they go on double dates? How often do they fight? Mix this curiosity in with some casual paparazzi photos and the pressure is on for any celebrity love birds who are just trying to get to know each other.
Unfortunately, because of all that pressure, we’ve learned that not all Hollywood romances are built to last.
Between being in the public eye, having crazy work schedules, and barely getting any alone time, most relationships that are stuck in the limelight eventually dwindle and vanish. Fortunately, that doesn’t stop most actors from falling in love with one another on set. And that doesn’t stop us from obsessing over them.
