During her first public outing with Prince Harry as his significant other at the 2017 Invictus Games, Markle wore the Looker Ankle Fray jeans in “Love Gun” from MOTHER. According to MarieClaire.com, the denim brand instantly saw a 1,000% increase in website traffic once fans figured out who Markle was wearing.
The jeans in question, which retail for $228, quickly sold out soon after Markle appeared in them. And when the company restocked the style in March 2018, the Looker Ankle Fray jeans sold out yet again within three days. The waitlist to grab a pair of Lookers currently staggers at over 4,000 hopeful customers. That’s right — 4,000.
But there’s good news. MOTHER globally restocked the Looker jeans online and in-store on June 26th. If you haven’t gotten a pair yet and plan to, act now because these babies aren’t going to stick around.

The Looker Ankle Fray in Love Gun are “fit for royalty,” as the MOTHER website states. They perfectly hug the leg and keep things casual with a light wash and subtle distressing. The raw hem and slashed knee add a bit of edge without being distracting.
The denim brand offers several different washes of the Looker Ankle Fray jean such as the High Waisted Looker Ankle Fray in “Close To The Edge,” which is a medium-dark wash. And there’s a lighter version called “Written In The Sand” with more distressing on the legs.
