If anyone’s overly cautious about fashion, it’s Meghan Markle. After joining the royal family this year, it seems like cameras are following her everywhere she goes. However, even a duchess can get things wrong sometimes. Really, it makes Markle seem even more relatable.
Markle stepped out in a gorgeous skirt that was a little more transparent than she might have thought. The incident happened today, October 31st, in Rotorua, New Zealand. Markle was in town with husband Prince Harry and was dressed to impress. Seriously — Markle was wearing a Givenchy skirt in sapphire with a top that was almost a perfect match.
Unfortunately, in a certain light, the shirt showcased her undies. They weren’t on full display, but still — it was a move the Queen might not have been too happy about.
But here’s some good news. Since she’s Meghan Markle, she still managed to make it all seem somewhat fashionable. In fact, if she told the world it was intentional, they’d have to believe her. Markle can easily make see-through skirts her thing, much like Regina George revolutionized the front-holed tank top.

As of now, Markle hasn’t addressed the issue — and she likely won’t, especially since she has quite the itinerary. But there’s a good chance she’ll make sure not to repeat the mistake in the future. Regardless, the skirt is absolutely lovely and perfect for pretty much any occasion. That is, with a slip or some extra coverage, just in case!
