Nick Jonas And Priyanka Chopra Are Reportedly Engaged — His Fans Are Losing It Online

It’s a dark day for Nick Jonas fans — this JoBro is reportedly off the market. A source told People.com, on July 27th, that Jonas proposed to girlfriend Priyanka Chopra about a week ago while the two celebrated Chopra’s 36th birthday in London. We’re all trying really hard to be happy and supportive, but wow does this news sting. Jonas fans have taken to Twitter to express their outrage.

“They are so happy,” the source told People.com. The insider said Jonas recently shut down a New York City Tiffany & Co. store to buy an engagement ring. “His friends and family have never seen him like this, and they’re all really excited for him,” the source continued. “He’s definitely very serious about her.”

That’s great. We’re super happy that Nick isn’t single anymore.

To be fair, we should have seen their engagement coming. In June, Jonas introduced Chopra to his entire family at his cousin’s New Jersey wedding. And later that month, Chopra brought Jonas to India to meet her mother. Then, in early July, the two were spotted wearing matching gold bands.

On July 26th, Chopra’s director for the Indian film Bharat cryptically tweeted about Chopra’s decision to leave the film. “The reason is very very special,” director Ali Abbas Zafar wrote. “She told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her.”

Plus, through her charity, The Priyanka Chopra Foundation for Health and Education, Chopra has covered educational and medical expenses for 70 Indian children — 50 of whom are girls who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend school. She rules!
