We haven’t heard from Lindsay Lohan in a while, and that’s clearly because she’s been making magic happen. Lohan, transformed into several Disney Princesses, appears on a digital cover for Paper Magazine’s “Break The Internet” series. And yes, this is the same publication that brought Amanda Bynes back into the spotlight at the end of November. Paper, we love your work.

For her digital Paper cover, Lohan, an über-celeb since the late ’90s, stuns as Snow White, poison apple and all. In another series of photos from her cover interview, posted to Instagram on December 3rd, Lohan appears as Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, and Cinderella. Each photo is better than the last.

The last few times Lohan has been in the press, it’s been for a wonky accent, her questionable statement about the #MeToo movement, and a weird video of her attempting to aid whom she believed were Syrian refugees. However, none of the above has seemingly fazed her.

“There’s always going to be things that have happened,” Lohan told Paper, “and things people have said in the past that you can’t control. But the past is in the past.”

And the Mean Girls star certainly hasn’t let the paparazzi and bad press get her down. She’s moved to Dubai, where paparazzi is criminalized. She also has her beach house in Mykonos, where her latest MTV reality show venture, Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club, will take place come 2019.

Nowadays, post-partying and wilding out, Lohan prefers to stay home, cook for friends and family, and focus on her career. Her new show posits her as the boss of her Lohan Beach House employees. In the reality series, Lohan guides her young staff through their highs and lows in a Jersey Shore/Vanderpump Rules-type setting.

She’s learned how to navigate fame, and as Paper says, remains just out of reach. Her comedic timing, thick skin, and ability to learn from previous mistakes has made LiLo fairly untouchable. The public can make fun all they want, but she’s not going to give up.

“I’ve realized, you  just have to smile and wave. ‘Smile and way boys, smile and wave,'” Lohan told Paper. “I always tell my sister: Just smile and wave.”

Keep on smiling and waving, Lindsay. We’re excited to see what you do next.
