Kate Hudson Posted The First Photo Of Her Newborn Daughter — She’s The Cutest Baby We’ve Ever Seen

On October 2nd, Kate Hudson gave birth to her third child, Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa. Rani (pronounced “Ronnie”) made her Instagram debut yesterday, October 7th, on Momma Kate’s account and hoo boy is she a cutie!

Being the first girl in the family, Rani joins big brothers 14-year-old Ryder, whom Hudson had with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and 7-year-old Bingham Hawn Bellamy, whom Hudson had with ex-fiancé Matt Bellamy. Hudson and boyfriend Fujikawa kept their pregnancy under wraps until April when Hudson posted a clip from their gender reveal party.

When Rani arrived on October 2nd, Hudson updated followers via Instagram by explaining how and why she and Fujikawa chose the name Rani. “We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa,” Hudson wrote in her Instagram post. “Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor.”

We’re not crying, you are!

She thanked her followers and fans for all the love and blessings. Then, we were lucky enough to see a pic of the little girl herself. “Our little rosebud,” Hudson captioned the pic of her newborn. She looks so peaceful in that swaddle.

As if Rani herself isn’t adorable enough, her parents’ love story will really do you in. Although Hudson and Fujikawa have only been dating for just over a year, they’ve known each other for almost two decades.

In December 2017, Hudson told the hosts of The Talk, “We’ve known each other for 15 years. [Fujikawa is] my best friend’s stepbrother. We kinda skipped through the part of knowing what the hiccups were… In terms of family, I’ve known his family forever. To have that connection is really powerful.”

Hudson said that the timing had never been right for the two of them to get together. But when it finally was, the stars seemed to align.
