Justin Bieber Cried In Public Again, And We’re Happy He’s Destroying Toxic Masculinity

It’s not exactly common to see a male celebrity breaking down in tears for everyone to see. Still, this doesn’t seem to bother Justin Bieber, who was spotted crying in public for the fourth time in recent months.

The Daily Mail obtained photos of Bieber weeping with his head in his hands while on a trip to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, with wife Hailey Baldwin. The pictures show Bieber sitting at a table in the Harry Potter-themed bar, The Leaky Cauldron, clearly really emotional behind a white baseball cap. Baldwin sat by Bieber’s side, comforting him by placing a hand on his neck and stroking the side of his face.

An eyewitness told The Daily Mail that Bieber appeared “disheveled and distressed,” and that just after 11:15 p.m., his security team cleared out the bar. The source said they walked in and sat down while a guard ushered everyone else out. They also ordered “a couple of Butterbeers.”

This isn’t the first time Bieber has been photographed sobbing in a public place.

Back in August, he was seen crying into Baldwin’s neck during a bike ride. Later that day, it seemed like Baldwin was the one crying while they were at a cafe. Later, Bieber briefly explained what had happened to TMZ, saying, “You’ve got good days and you got bad days. It’s not real if it doesn’t have any bad days.”

While we hate to see Bieber looking so upset while out with Baldwin (or anywhere!), we have to saw: we’re pretty happy he’s defying toxic masculinity, which makes it seem like men can’t feel any emotion other than happiness or anger. Men are not expected to cry at all, let alone in public, and it’s nice to see Bieber is secure enough in his emotions and in himself to let it go when he needs to. Everyone needs a good cry sometimes!

Although we still don’t know what happened, we do know that something was definitely going on.

A few days after he was spotted crying, Bieber shared an Instagram photo of himself with a new short haircut after buzzing off his long hair. A source also told People that Bieber recently scaled back on his work commitments, supposedly to spend more time with Baldwin. The source said, “Justin seems okay. However, he doesn’t seem ready to record new music yet and keeps saying that he just wants to hang out with Hailey.”
