It’s 1963 and Barbra Streisand just won three Grammy’s for her debut album “The Barbra Streisand Album” including Album of the Year.
On this day in 1963, Barbra Streisand appeared on The Judy Garland Show. A 21 year old Barbra and 41 year old Judy sang the song “Happy Days Are Here Again” on the television show. Garland confessed to Streisand that Barbra was one of the last great belters. They were often compared to each other.
