This Video Shows The One Moment We All Missed During Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Wedding

Having watched Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s May 19th royal wedding about one hundred times now, we could probably accurately reenact the entire thing from beginning to end. But even we, the royal wedding’s biggest fans, missed a moment from the event that is now going viral. The internet is trying to figure out who gave Markle her bouquet when she entered St. George’s Chapel. And shockingly, we’re also at a loss.

The mystery bouquet deliverer was captured from a bird’s eye view camera stationed at the top of the chapel. We can clearly see it’s a woman wearing a light-colored knee-length dress and a matching hat. But this evidence doesn’t help us much because seemingly everyone at the royal wedding was wearing a light-colored dress and a hat to match, including Oprah, Serena Williams, and Priyanka Chopra.

But knowing the important royal players, many were led to believe it must have been Kate Middleton, Markle’s now-sister-in-law, who handed the Duchess her bouquet.

Middleton had escorted her daughter, Princess Charlotte, who was one of Markle’s bridesmaids, to the chapel earlier that day. And Middleton also arrived with Markle’s posse of important female friends. Therefore, her being assigned an important task like delivering the bouquet certainly isn’t out of the question.

The issue with the Middleton theory is that Kate was spotted in her seat near the altar, next to Camilla Parker Bowles, mere minutes after the bouquet hand-off. Sure, Middleton could have given Markle her bouquet then sprinted back to her seat. But assigning someone else to bouquet duties probably made a lot more sense.

Cosmopolitan theorizes that it’s more likely Markle received her bouquet from Samantha Cohen, Queen Elizabeth’s former special advisor and Markle’s current secretary. Interesting…very interesting.

We could say, “case closed,” but until Meghan Markle reveals who gave her the bouquet, we’re keeping this investigation open. There’s too much mystery and not enough evidence to make any conclusions.
