Taylor Swift’s Dating Advice For Comedian Tiffany Haddish Is Pretty Surprising

Since becoming famous as a teen, Taylor Swift’s love life has always been super public (I mean, when doesn’t a magazine at the checkout have her face on it?). So she must have some pretty solid relationship advice, right? Apparently, comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish had the same idea, because Swift is helping her out in the dating department.

After the two co-starred on Saturday Night Live in 2017, they started a friendship that seems to still be going strong. When Haddish recently announced her collaboration with Lawry’s Seasoned Salt, she told People about some interesting dating advice Swift gave her.

“You know what, I’m about to go on Instagram right now and put out an advertisement because I’m very single,” she told the magazine. “I was talking to Taylor earlier — she said that’s what I should do!”

Haddish also said that her and Swift text relatively often, about every couple of weeks. But the 38-year-old is so serious about finding love, she looked to the singer for advice.

Putting a love ad on Instagram does not seem conventional at all, and definitely not what we thought Swift would advise anyone to do.

We’ll have to wait and see if Haddish really does turn to social media to find a relationship, since she hasn’t yet posted on Instagram. She does have some requirements for any man trying to court her, though. No kids, a credit score over 700, good hygiene, and a nice smile are just some of the things she’s looking for — of course, we can’t really say if the comedian is just cracking jokes, but we do know she’s ready to take on the dating scene.
