While Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart were the first to take their romance public, the internet is melting over the cuteness that is Camila Mendes and Charles Melton. Last month, there were rumors that their characters, Veronica Lodge and Reggie Mantle, were going to have a new romance in Season 3, and now their IRL relationship is official.
Camila posted a picture of Charles giving her a kiss over the weekend on her Instagram page, with the simple caption, “mine” — it doesn’t get more straightforward than that.
The first account of their romance was reported by E! News, in which a source spotted the Riverdale couple sneaking in a kiss at a Vancouver movie theater. “Camila sat next to Charles and leaned on his shoulder,” the source told E! News. “As the lights were dimming, my friend saw them kiss!” It looks like fans were speculating about the romance for a while now. Back in September, one Twitter user wrote, “I’m like 97.3% sure that camila mendes and charles melton are dating.”
Now that their relationship is official, fans have been using the hashtag #CharMila to voice their support, with one user writing, “Why isn’t #charmila trending yet?”
