Joe Jonas And Sophie Turner Got New Tattoos Together — They Are Inspo For Couples Everywhere

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have to be one of our favorite celebrity couples out there. The two are fairly low-key when it comes to their relationship, but from the photos we see of them and the things we hear about them, it’s obvious that they were made for each other. And now they’ve taken one of the biggest steps you can take when dating someone: Joe and Sophie got new matching tattoos, confirming that they are romance inspiration for couples everywhere.

From their social media accounts, it seems like the pair got coordinating tattoos this past weekend, and each one has a really special meaning behind it. Both Joe and Sophie got their tattoos to honor someone important in their lives — and no, not each other. They went to Bang Bang Tattoo Parlor in New York City on Friday, July 20th, where they each got some new ink that they both revealed on their Instagram pages. Although the tattoos don’t match exactly, it’s clear that this was something they wanted to get done together.

Joe’s tattoo is a tribute to his late grandfather, PaPa Miller, who died in 2014. It’s a photo of his grandfather inside a postage stamp with a date (probably his birthday). The caption simply reads, “For PaPa Miller,” with a thank you to the tattoo artist behind the ink.

In the Instagram post, Joe also shared the real-life photo of his grandfather.

Sophie’s tattoo is a lot more simple than Joe’s, although it’s just as meaningful. It’s on her pinky finger, and it’s a little cursive “G.” The caption reads, “for my grandad. My hero.”

We love that these two went out and got some permanent body art as a tribute to their late grandfathers. It’s so sweet that they wanted to share that heartfelt moment together.

This isn’t the first time that tattoos have played a part in their relationship. A few months ago, Joe revealed a brand new tattoo that many speculate is an image of Sophie. The tattoo is an outline of a naked woman with long hair, right next to the knot tattoo he has that symbolizes family. Due to the image, the location on his body, and the small red line (a possible tribute to her hair color on Game Of Thrones), many believe it’s an outline of Sophie.

So now that Joe might have a tattoo of Sophie, and they’ve got coordinating tattoos, the next logical step is for Sophie to get one for Joe. Will she? Only time will tell!
