It’s a bittersweet time right now. Game of Thrones, one of the most popular shows around (the Season 7 premiere had 10.1 million viewers), is wrapping up with their upcoming eighth season. Fans have been especially interested in what’ll happen at the end — and who’ll get the throne. The fact that author and series creator George R.R. Martin has yet to conclude his book series is making fans even more curious. During the first few seasons, they at least had a little bit of a blueprint to figure out where the show would lead.

!!"

But sadly, Game of Thrones fans probably won’t find any answers in the teaser trailer that was just released. Why? Well, because HBO chose to share as little as possible. The teaser trailer is only around three seconds long. It’s legit footage from the final season, but watching it leaves you wanting more.

Even worse, it’ll still be quite some time before Season 8 airs. It’s currently speculated that Game of Thrones will be back in May of 2019. (Just as a reminder, it’s currently August of 2018.) So yes — there’s still a bunch of waiting ahead.

The blink-and-you’ll-miss-it clip features fan favorites Sansa and Jon Snow. And it’ll leave you with a lot of questions, since HBO knows how to get people talking.

What does it all mean? Sansa and Jon both look a little upset.

Who’s also upset? The fans. It’s such a minor clip that at this point in time, it seems a little pointless.

To be fair, the footage was initially in a trailer with other upcoming HBO shows. But it seems like it got the least amount of airtime.

Looks like we just have to wait for more. But knowing the final season is ready to go — with months until it airs — is enough to make any fan a little crazy.
