Stick a Cork in Me, I’m Done

Now there’s more reason to drink wine! Repurpose the corks using these clever hacks and crafts.

Makeshift dry mat

1. Bring water to a boil and boil corks for 10 minutes
2. Cut corks in half.
3. Glue on mat as shown below.
4. Place in bathroom or kitchen!

DIY Candle

1. Soak corks in alcohol for 24 hours.
2. Put inside fire safe container
3. Voila, new candles! So romantico

Cute plant magnets

1. Drill a hole through the cork.
2. Fill it with soil.
3. Place tiny succulent or plant.
4. Glue magnets at the back of cork.
5. Display on fridge or white board!

Vertical photo board

1. Take a yardstick
2. Hot glue the corks and place them on the yard stick.
3. Hang in room or wherever, and enjoy!

Prevent scratches from furniture legs (or fix wobbly ones)

1. Slice about 1/8 of an inch from a cork.
2. Super glue at the bottom of a chair leg
3. No more scratches! Or wobbly legs

Electric cord tie

1. Drill two holes in cork as shown
2. Pull elastic cord through one hole and tie a knot.
3. Do the same to the side as shown.
4. Organize your electric cords!

Makeshift stamp

1. Draw your design at the top of the cork
2. Use an x-acto knife to cut the cork to create the shape/design.
3. Dip in ink and stamp away!
