Makeshift dry mat
- Bring water to a boil and boil corks for 10 minutes
- Cut corks in half.
- Glue on mat as shown below.
- Place in bathroom or kitchen!
DIY Candle
- Soak corks in alcohol for 24 hours.
- Put inside fire safe container
- Voila, new candles! So romantico
Cute plant magnets
- Drill a hole through the cork.
- Fill it with soil.
- Place tiny succulent or plant.
- Glue magnets at the back of cork.
- Display on fridge or white board!
Vertical photo board
- Take a yardstick
- Hot glue the corks and place them on the yard stick.
- Hang in room or wherever, and enjoy!
Prevent scratches from furniture legs (or fix wobbly ones)
- Slice about 1/8 of an inch from a cork.
- Super glue at the bottom of a chair leg
- No more scratches! Or wobbly legs
Electric cord tie
- Drill two holes in cork as shown
- Pull elastic cord through one hole and tie a knot.
- Do the same to the side as shown.
- Organize your electric cords!
Makeshift stamp
- Draw your design at the top of the cork
- Use an x-acto knife to cut the cork to create the shape/design.
- Dip in ink and stamp away!
