Biking with a dress

Don’t ride your bike in fear of flashing the world!

Materials:

Instructions:

  1. Place the coin behind the back of your dress
  2. Bring the front and back of the dress together
  3. Starting on the front of the dress, wrap the hair tie around the coin until it’s tight.

Quick fix for a broken flipflop

I wish I knew about this hack when I broke my flipflop getting out of the car on the first day of high school.

Materials:

  • soda can tab

Instructions:

  1. Pull the tab off of a soda can.
  2. Make a tear in the larger hole of the tab, but only tear it in half. You still want the tab intact.
  3. Re-thread the base of the flipflop strap through the hole.
  4. Hook the tab around the base of the flipflop strap on the bottom of the flipflop.
  5. Close the tear in the soda can tab and gently pull the strap back in place.

How to convert bikini bottoms into a bikini top

If you’re like me and have a difficult time finding a cute bikini top that fits, try this hack instead!

Materials:

  • bikini bottoms
  • swimsuit string

Instructions:

  1. Thread the swimsuit string through the crotch of the bikini bottoms.
  2. Bring the bottoms to your chest and cross the string around your neck, but don’t make a knot just yet.
  3. Bring the crisscrossed string down your back and thread the string through each hip of the bikini bottoms.
  4. Bring the string together and tie a knot at the middle of your back.

Soothing painful sunburn

Are you paying for skipping the sunscreen? These aloe vera gel ice cubes will bring you much-needed relief.

Materials:

Instructions:

  1. Fill each well of the ice cube tray with aloe vera gel.
  2. Freeze until the aloe vera is set.
  3. Apply to burned areas as needed.

Prevent theft at the beach

Nobody’s going to want to steal a poopy diaper.

Materials:

  • baby diaper
  • chocolate
  • your personal items (ex: phone, wallet, keys)

Instructions:

  1. Open up the diaper and place each of your personal items inside the diaper.
  2. Fold the diaper closed and fold the wings to seal it closed.
  3. Slide a piece of a chocolate bar partially into the diaper.
  4. Allow the chocolate to melt under the sun.

DIY Sweat Wipes

Stop wasting money on expensive blotting sheets!

Materials:

Instructions:

  1. Cut a coffee filter into the shape of a flower, so you utilize every part of the filter.
  2. Put the cut up pieces in your carrying container.

Materials:

Instructions:
