At one point or another, you probably have to deal with wrinkled clothes fresh out of the dryer at an inconvenient time, or you might do everything to avoid ironing, even if it means wearing a wrinkled shirt to the office (guilty!). Some might say to invest in a steamer instead, but they can be costly. Fortunately, Daily Mail reported on a new dryer trick that is potentially life-changing for those of us who don’t have the patience for using an iron.
Here’s how it works: take the clothes you want ironed and throw them in the dryer with a few ice cubes on high heat for a few minutes. The steam from the melting ice cubes will help iron out those wrinkles in the time it takes you to put on makeup, make a cup of coffee, or even take a quick shower.
Most importantly, those who have tested this hack caution others not to overfill the dryer with ice, because that can damage the dryer – and don’t overload the dryer with laundry either. Just put in the clothes you need immediately with a few ice cubes, and your dryer will do all the work!

Now this isn’t the only ironing hack out there — others swear by using a blow-dryer as a steamer, using a flat iron to get those hard to reach spots, or spraying some vinegar diluted with water before throwing your clothes in the dryer. Regardless of what method you use, it’ll make being an adult so much easier, and you’ll never have to deal with an iron again.
