Every woman who has ever chopped her locks knows how empowering a short hairdo can be. As if she needed any more empowerment, the always-outspoken Chrissy Teigen cut her hair into a long bob and isn’t about to let anyone rain on her new ‘do parade. When someone commented on a photo of Teigen’s new look saying that her short hair makes her face look “huge,” Teigen clapped back beautifully, as she’s always wont to do.
“You look beautiful but you should grow your hair long again,” Instagram user @bcnjw commented on Teigen’s September 25th photo from her recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “Girls with round faces should not have short hair like that.”
Um, where do you come off? You know what? We’ll let Teigen defend herself on this one.
Teigen wrote back, “honestly wow thank you because when I wake up each morning I wonder what @bcnjw would do and then I try to make her happy so this was a mistake on my part.”
Let this sarcastic clapback show that one should never mess with Teigen because people, you just won’t win. She’s got more wit and comeback skills than any of us will ever have.

Teigen isn’t just highly skilled at crafting sarcastic shut-downs. She’s also just downright hilarious in her own Instagram comments. When she received this silly comment from the Instagram account @sam_photo_dory, she decided to give the harmless troll some recognition.
“So are we just going to ignore the fact that I have been posting the same photo of Dory and don’t have 3K followers yet?” the Dory account commented. Teigen responded, “Yes. I don’t know how you even have that many quite honestly.”

Clearly Teigen understands that social media, although important and powerful in regards to societal influence, doesn’t have be something that is taken so seriously. We should all take a page from Teigen’s book and take every photo, comment, and share with a grain of salt as we stay as true as possible to ourselves.
