Let’s be real, we’re always looking to make a little extra money.

!!"

A 2017 survey Bankrate took a close look at how prevalent the side hustle is in the American workforce and the results were overwhelming.

Unlike the gig economy, which is made up of freelancers relying on gig work as their main source of income, the side hustle is all about the extra cash.

And in America, 44 million workers are making at least $500 extra each month from a source of income that isn’t their full-time job.

What does a side hustle look like? For some, it might be downloading an app and joining the ranks of Uber or Lyft drivers.

Others might strike out on their own, starting a handmade goods business and selling their wares on Etsy or Big Cartel.

It’s admirable, to be able to put in the time at a full-time job and then spend your downtime creatively coming up with extra cash. It’s a fabulous way to make ends meet in an economy that hasn’t been kind to millennials.

Middle-class workers aren’t the only ones with a side hustle, of course.

Even for the rich and the famous, an entrepreneurial endeavor is a chance to dabble in their interests, try something new, or build their wealth. A lot of celebrities are on board, too.

Here are 15 celebrities who have a side hustle.
