Lately, the trend has been for celebrities to skip the out-of-control festivities in favor of a courthouse wedding. Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) made headlines when they skipped out on a star-studded ceremony and began married life with a license and some rings, for example. Cardi B and Offset got married in their bedroom unbeknownst to anyone.
